Mark McGrievy

Mark is one of the most knowledgeable professionals you’ll meet. Because of his financial, healthcare and legal background, Mark focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business services, real estate transactions, finance and regulatory issues – focused in the healthcare arena. There, he primarily represents long-term care owners, operators, and ancillary providers as well as physicians and physician groups. Mark also focuses on organizational structure, leasing, financing, debtor/creditor workouts, licensure, Medicare and Medicaid certification and State and Federal compliance and regulatory issues.

Mark began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas R. Rumana, JSC, in Passaic County Superior Court in New Jersey. Before going into private practice and joining a large downtown Cleveland law firm as head of their Healthcare Group, Mark served as the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for a prominent Ohio-based long-term care company. It was there he learned the long-term healthcare business from the inside out. Today, Mark practices in all State courts in Ohio and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Mark is also the former President of the Allied Healthcare Professionals Association, Board Member St. Augustine Health Ministries and St. Augustine Service Corp. He has volunteered for Geauga Humane Society-Rescue Village, March of Dimes; and other charitable organizations.

In his career, Mark has been the featured speaker for various groups and associations including the OHCA, AOPHA, OSBA, CMBA, NBI, the Ohio Insurance Underwriters Association and Ohio Society of CPAs.

He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, B.A., 1985 and the Cleveland–Marshall College of Law, J.D., 1988.
