Joseph W. McHugh

Joe McHugh has been with L’Hommedieu & McGrievy since passing the bar in 2018. He is a proud graduate of John Carroll University, where he earned his B.S. in Economics in 2015, and the Cleveland–Marshall College of Law, earning his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2018.

While in law school, Joe served as Chief Managing Editor on the Cleveland State Law Review, where his note Looking Through the (Mis)Classifieds: Why TaskRabbit is Better Suited than Uber and Lyft to Succeed Against a Worker Misclassification Claim, earned him the Ohio State Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section Student Achievement Award for Meritorious Writing in the Field of Labor and Employment Law. Joe also worked as a law clerk for a downtown Cleveland firm, and as an extern with the in-house general counsel for MIM Software Inc., a company providing medical imaging software to health care providers around the world.

Joe’s Bar Admissions include all State courts in Ohio as a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
